Our President, Thad cut is teeth running computer systems at large global companies such as Universal, Johnson & Johnson, and Yahoo in the 90s, long before people realized computers would one day rule our lives.

After nearly a decade of IT consulting, Thad Gerber founded Velocity Network Solutions in 1999, to fill a specific need; delivering a more proactive personal approach to delivering IT solutions to small businesses.

Arik Shakib, Chief Technology Officer

Arik Shakib came to Velocity when the company he founded Imperial Integration Services (IIS) was acquired by Velocity Network Solutions in 2004. Arik is instrumental in keeping up with the latest technology trends and defining the company’s solutions offerings.

Mark Simpson, Helpdesk Manager

Our Help Desk Manager, Mark Simpson, has spent much of his career melding his genuine desire to help others with his technical aptitude to resolve problems.  He has worked in an I.T. and Customer Support capacity with companies such as Sprint, Overture.com and Yahoo.com, providing enterprise-level I.T. support on a global scale.  A native Texan and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Mark and his family happily reside California’s San Gabriel Valley.

Sam Halo, Technical Engagement Manager

Sam Halo has spent nearly a decade managing complex technical projects. Sam’s role is both that of a technical consultant and a project manager. Sam is responsible for understanding clients’ business goals, selecting the right technology, and managing the implementation from start to finish.
