What does Velocity Network Solutions do?

In a nutshell, we function in one of two primary ways:

  • As your complete, locally outsourced IT department
  • As a supplemental resource for your existing in-house IT staff
Either way incorporates our fixed-fee managed IT services. Anything from IT consulting to help desk support, from cloud solutions to network security is covered under our umbrella of fixed-fee services.

What kinds of service plans do you offer and what do they cover?

All of our IT services and cloud solutions are based on our managed IT services plan, TotalCare. Other service items such as offsite backup, disaster recovery, cloud services, etc can be included.

What are your hours of operation?

Our office hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. This is typically when help desk support is provided to our clients, however, we also offer 24x7 support for those who work around the clock.

What if I have an emergency during off hours?

Our managed services include emergency coverage for critical issues outside of office hours. This means that if your server crashes at 2:00am on a Saturday, our technicians will be notified and we'll have you back up and running before you get into the office on Monday.

I'm looking to switch IT providers and am interested in your services. How do I go about doing this?

Transitioning to a new IT service provider sounds difficult, but we make sure it goes smoothly and pain free. In most cases, we handle every aspect of the transition for you. Here is a high-level overview of our process.

  1. Document and gather data for current IT systems to verify we can access them (i.e. servers, firewalls, etc.)
  2. Change the passwords and verify systems are performing properly.
  3. Your business would then notify it's current IT provider about the transition and that Velocity will be reaching out to them.
  4. Your new Velocity consultant would then coordinate with the IT provider to wrap up the remaining details.

Is your backup & disaster recovery service included with all plans?

We have found that different clients have huge variants in the amount of data being stored. Since backup is utility-based computing (pay for what you need only), it wasn’t effective to have the backup services priced into all plans. Hence, we have separated our backup services into optional services.

I need a service that is not specifically listed on your website.  Can you still provide it?

Call us at (818) 780-3600 and speak with sales. Chances are we either offer it or can refer you to someone who does. Due to the incredible amount of detail out there, we are unable to list every service that we provide on the web site.

Do you provide services outside of Los Angeles, CA?

Absolutely. Many of our clients have offices outside the United States including Australia, Europe, and Asia. Our unique business model allows for full management of your systems regardless of your location. Should you need on-site services outside of Los Angeles, we have partnered with many technology firms who can dispatch field technicians to any location with guaranteed response times and quality of service.

Do you guarantee your services?

  • We don’t believe that you should incur any costs for evaluating our services. That’s why we offer an initial consultation and proposal without charge or obligation.

  • We offer fixed price quotes on all jobs to ensure projects are completed on budget without any “surprises” or hidden fees. That means that you know exactly where you stand and the project risk becomes ours, not yours.

  • Our managed IT services agreement offers our new clients the ability to exit the agreement within the first 30 days, should they not feel satisfied with the level of service they receive. As a testament to our service level, we're proud to say that no business has opted out of our services in the entire 14 years we've been in business!

Can you guarantee that I won’t have any technical problems or downtime?

Due to the nature and complexity of today's technology, no company can guarantee that you will never have any technical problems or downtime. However, we can guarantee that, as your technology partner, we will swiftly minimize the problems you have and dramatically improve the speed, performance, and reliability of your systems. We also guarantee our response times based on the emergency and if you are on our TotalCare managed IT services plan, you will never see any additional invoices for maintaining your existing infrastructure.
